The Goal

East Bank Club is the largest health club in Chicago, big enough to take up an entire city block. A place that size is impossible to sum up in a handful of photos, and they needed a library that could actually represent all of it. They came to us to shoot 60 images across ten days, capturing every side of the club, indoors, outdoors, and even underwater.

The Solution

We spent ten days shooting across the entire club and built the library one location at a time, the spin and training floors, the tennis and basketball courts, the pools above and below the surface, the rooftop, and the dining and social spaces. We cast and directed real scenes throughout, shaping each shot to feel natural while making the space and the people look their best. Working indoors, outdoors, and underwater meant constantly resetting for light and gear, but we came away with all 60, a single library that shows every side of the biggest club in the city.
