The Goal

Coda Di Volpe is a wood-fired Italian restaurant, and at the heart of it is a chef who genuinely loves what he does. He makes pizza the same way it's been made for generations, and he loves thinking about that history, but none of that came through to the people sitting down to eat. They wanted a film that put his passion and his story front and center, and did it in a way that draws people in without ever feeling like an ad.

The Solution

We built the film around the chef, letting him tell it in his own words while we directed the moments that mattered, the oven, the pizzas, the room at full swing. We kept a light touch through service so nothing got in the way of the night. The restaurant does its selling through his story, not a pitch, which is exactly what he wanted.
